Welcome to Berkshire Veterinary Acupuncture!

We are a mobile in-home veterinary acupuncture practice dedicated to your pet's good health and comfort.  We provide an integrative veterinary approach utilizing Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), including acupuncture, herbal and food therapy.  We also offer Veterinary Medical Manipulation (VMM). Since we come to you, we can treat your pet in a safe, quiet, familiar environment, which enhances the therapeutic value of acupuncture and spinal manipulation.  TCVM can effectively address a wide range of conditions in dogs, cats, and exotic pets, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Spine & disk conditions
  • Neurologic disorders
  • Surgical rehab
  • Relief from cancer treatment side effects
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease
  • Heart disease
  • Diarrhea/constipation
  • Anxiety
  • Hospice care

TCVM will often work when conventional therapies have not succeeded, and can be an important addition to hospice treatment.

Dr. Stephanie James is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, a Certified Veterinary Chinese Herbalist, and a Certified Veterinary Food Therapist, with advanced training through the Chi Institute in Florida, the premier TCVM training facility in the country.  She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner.
